Hello, and welcome
I am a clinical psychologist and accredited psychotherapist in Western Australia, and hold prior experience as a teacher and behavioural consultant, both privately and in the education system.
I completed my postgraduate training in clinical psychology at Edith Cowan University, and hold additional training in counselling and psychotherapy. I have experience in varied roles including hospital mental health settings, child protection and private practice. I work with children, adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds, and have a particular interest in the understanding and treatment of complex trauma across the lifespan.
I am passionate about utilising evidence-based therapies informed by current research, and tailor a variety of treatment approaches to support the individual needs of my clients. My treatment focus is on the whole person, and some of the approaches I utilise include: cognitive-behavioural therapies (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-focused approaches such as schema therapy, internal family systems, EMDR, mindfulness, and process-experiential therapies.
My interpersonal style is relaxed, gentle and non-judgemental. I offer a safe, caring and empathic space for you to express what matters most to you. I validate your here-and-now experience, while collaborating with you to bring about positive change.
