Simon has a particular interest in the understanding and treatment of complex trauma across the lifespan.
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Simon has worked in varied roles including hospital mental health settings, child protection, behavioural consultancy for the Department of Education, and private practice. Simon completed postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology at Edith Cowan University, and holds additional training in counselling and psychotherapy, and specialised training in behavioural sleep medicine. Simon is an accredited gestalt psychotherapist, having completed a 4-year training program with the Gestalt Training Institute of WA.
Simon is dedicated to providing his clients with the current best practice and evidence-based treatments and is continually engaged in professional development, supervision and learning. Simon has a particular interest in the understanding and treatment of complex trauma across the lifespan.
