Family Therapy
Family therapy views problems within the context of the family system, helping members navigate life changes, mental health issues, or behavioral challenges by strengthening relationships and building new ways of relating.
Simon address issues that affect the entire family, such as communication breakdowns, conflicts, or transitions. Simon draws on structural and strategic models of family therapy and supports family members to be heard and validated in a safe environment.

Structural Family Therapy
Emotion-Focused Therapy
Cognitive-Behavioural Family Therapy
"The touchstone for family life is still 'and so they were married and lived happily ever after'. It is no wonder that any family falls short of this ideal"
- Salvador Minuchin.
Family systems thrive when each of its members are heard, valued and supported. When one family member suffers, the family unit is inevitably impacted. Simon supports family systems to improve connection and communication safely and respectfully.
The Process
01
First Meeting and Assessment
The first meeting and assessment are crucial steps in beginning your therapy journey. During this initial session, Simon takes the time to understand your unique situation, gather relevant background information, and identify the key issues you wish to address.
02
Customised Treatment Plan and Therapy Sessions
After the initial evaluation, Simon creates a personalised treatment plan that has been collaboratively agreed upon outlining the strategies and interventions best suited to your situation. Each therapy session is tailored to fit this plan, focusing on your unique challenges and presenting concerns.
03
Fostering Enduring Change and Development
Simon's aim is to foster enduring change and continued growth in your life. Through a tailored approach and continued collaboration, he aims to equip you with the tools and insights necessary for lasting personal growth. By addressing the root causes of your challenges and building on your strengths, Simon helps you to create sustainable improvements that extend beyond the therapy sessions.
